The expertise and excellence of Maison Dumas are recognised and promoted by the Entreprises du Patrimoine Vivant (EPV) label, awarded in 2017 to the brand's craftsmen. As a member of the Excellence EPV network, a state recognition that distinguishes French companies with rare and traditional craft skills, Maison Dumas demonstrates that it is part of excellence à la française.
This showcase is the fruit of decades of passing on unique know-how, preserved and enriched daily by the craftsmen of La Compagnie Dumas, parent company of Dumas Paris and the Petit Meunier and Edona brands.

1950
The decline of fur, a new era
After the war, Pierre Dumas, Louis' son, began a new chapter. Change came to the Dumas workshops in the form of feathers: Pierre, a visionary, made pillows, bolsters and eiderdowns the new core business of the family firm.
1970-2000
Heading for the duvet... of luxury
The 4th generation, with Christian Dumas, gave the company a new lease of life, bringing its expertise in luxury Nordic duvets to France. Looking to the future, Christian developed technological innovations and exclusive new processes, such as the GSD® anti-dust mite double envelope. Innovation goes hand in hand with protecting the environment and maintaining traditional know-how.

Comfort for everyone
Edouard Dumas, a graduate of the prestigious Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne engineering school, is taking the helm of the company after an international career.
